McKendree Elementary is a vibrant learning community committed to fostering academic excellence, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Our students enjoy a wide range of specials, including foundational STEM and computer science instruction, as well as a Guided Play Space for Pre-K through 2nd grade that promotes character development and cooperative play. Beyond the classroom, McKendree offers diverse clubs such as Robotics, Band, Chorus, Drama, Visual Arts, and athletics, providing opportunities for every child to explore their interests. We actively engage families through cultural and academic events like International Night, STEM Night, and the annual Talent Show, while also hosting parent workshops and early learning programs to strengthen home-school connections.
